The
nonlinear finite element program,
FINAS which is capable
of the stability assessment
of thin walled structures, was
developed at Imperial College,
London (1984, 1987 &
1992).
The
general purpose software, XFINAS
which is an eXtended version
of FINAS, has been developed
on Window in AIT and Konkuk
University (2006), Seoul,
Korea.
XFINAS
enables a powerful nonlinear
structural dynamic analysis
with material and geometric
nonlinearity. A large number
of numerical validations of
XFINAS elements show that all
solutions are in excellent agreements
with the references.
